So, so so happy to share my final bedroom tour reveal, and the MVP of my room: the bed area! Last week, I showed off my reading nook, and the week before that I showed off my office area, ICYMI.

These pillows from The Blush Label were actually the inspiration for the entire bedroom design, believe it or not! BeforeRaquel from The Petite Decor came in to design my bedroom, the only thing I was pretty certain of was that I needed these pillows in my life. And a white duvet cover. I’m not super adventurous in print mixing in the bedroom, but she did encourage me to add polka dot sheets to my bedding to give it a little bit of flair.

I always have to have a throw at the end of my bed as well. Growing up, my grandma would make me my own custom afghans for the foot of my bed. She passed away when I was 8, but I think that’s a tradition that’s stuck with me ever since. I love this mohair throw from Lans Downunder; it’s super luxurious and gives my bedroom the right amount of personality. If hot pink isn’t your thing, they have mohair throws in almost every color, as well as Italian and Alpaca throws.

Also — I saved a *ton* of money by picking up pieces off of Craigslist for my room. My headboard originally retailed for $300 on Joss and Main, but I picked it up for a cool $80. I was worried about how expensive my bedroom furniture would be, but I kept costs down to a minimum! The most that I spent on furniture was for my mirrored nightstands, which were a pretty good deal themselves. Kirklands is a great furniture shop I had never heard of until Raquel worked with me on my room, and I’m obsessed with it!
