Shop My Office:

Guys, this post has been about 6 months in the making: it’s time to finally reveal my finished bedroom design! As some of you *might* remember, I teamed up with Raquel from The Petite Decor to completely redo my bedroom. Guys, it looked like the hottest of messes! I’ll be sharing little pieces of the room over the next few weeks.
I knew I had to create an office area in my apartment because of the amount of work I need to do for my blog, as well as the rare times when my job permits me to work from home. I wanted my space to be clean, simple and somewhere where I could focus and get the inspiration I need to curate blog content.
I shared my DIY IKEA office chair a few months ago (weirdly enough, my very first DIY post turned out to be the single post that’s driven the most traffic on the blog!), and you guys seemed to love it! I already had the IKEA desk and office chair listed here, and the West Elm lamp used to sit on my nightstand. After I purchased a new set of nightstands, this pretty lamp didn’t really go with the new furniture. Raquel suggested I move the lamp that I didn’t want to part with onto the desk, and I couldn’t be happier with that decision.
I also teamed up with Framebridge to create a mini office gallery wall (here’s the gallery wall in my living room if you missed that post!). Before I used to have just my calendar on that big, empty wall, and it looked a little off. I purchased a couple of smaller prints to Framebridge and they custom framed and matted my prints. I had a hard time deciding what type of frames would look good on the wall, but a designer recommended these classic white frames. I couldn’t be happier!
My office area is a little on the large side, so I wanted to accessorize it: I loved this acrylic tray from Mintwood Home (which is an AMAZING company based in D.C.!) and I put some of my favorite notepads and accessories on display. Raquel also suggested that I drape this amazing sheepskin throw from BoConcept over my office chair. It gives the chair a whole new luxe feeling!
Hope you enjoyed part one of my bedroom tour! Stay tuned for my bed area and my reading nook in the next couple of weeks!

Love how sleek it is! And I’ve been searchingfor black and white curtains. Do you think they’d look good in a living room too? Can’t tell the quality based on a photo alone. Thanks!
I am about to design an office room from scratch! This blog is so useful… maybe I can get some companies to ‘help’ me decorate for some love on my blog!
Your office is so beautiful and such an inspiring space!
