First outfit post of 2015, and I must say, I’m ringing in the new year with some of my favorites! It *was* warm this weekend when I shot these photos (um hello, 60 degrees on Sunday? Loved it!) and now a polar vortex has swept through and basically crushed everyone’s hopes and dreams. For real. However, there’s something about a cheery shade of yellow that can lighten up my spirits, no matter how painful the wind chill gets.
This fabulous cashmere sweater is from a new gem I discovered called Siqin. D.C. area folks, you’re in for a treat: their only U.S. location happens to be at Tysons Galleria. For those of you who don’t live in our neck of the woods, they have a fabulous online shop as well. Siqin is a contemporary, imaginative brand that offers fresh, high-quality pieces. This sweater is the softest thing I own in my closet, hands down! Seriously, my friends cannot stop petting me whenever I wear this sweater. That’s because this piece is made out of 100% Mongolian cashmere. The best part about this sweater is that it will get softer over time, and it is incredibly warm!
Long story short: cozy sweaters in fun colors can cure your case of seasonal depression. All of Siqin’s cashmere sweaters are on sale currently, so I would highly recommend picking one up for yourself!
