You know what I never fully understood, especially since I started blogging? Why people are upset that we don’t have true fall weather on the first day of fall.
Maybe it’s because I grew up in the D.C. area, but guys: it stays kind of hot for a while, pretty much every year. I don’t think I’ve experienced an actual fall “crispness” until mid-October at the earliest. As much as I love rocking a good sweater, I’m really in no hurry to rush summer out of the door!
I wore this outfit at NYFW, and it was an excellent way to transition to another season (this would also be a good option for a winter to spring transition as well!) I love wearing mules on a hectic day, and this pair from Nordstrom is a super comfortable option! I lasted all day long in these mules (3 shows, 2 events, and one dinner!) and I was able to ride the subway and walk a few miles in these bad boys with no issue. I think I’m going to snag these mules in another color!
