Without a doubt, the holidays are going to look a bit different this year. Instead of big parties, I’ll be opting for virtual Zoom dates, and I’ll also be hosting a small Thanksgiving for three next week.
One of my favorite things about the holidays is the holiday outfits. I love dressing up for a fun outing — putting on a great outfit makes me feel confident and able to conquer the day. I started a series called “Friday Fancy” on my Instagram Stories back in April to encourage my audience to dress up during quarantine, and I still throw on a fancy frock at least once a week to make myself feel normal.
Since I’m saving up to gift my friends and family some much-needed luxury presents, I’m trying to spend less on holiday outfits this season or re-wear some of my old favorites. I’m just saying: I will be that girl to dress to the nines during a Zoom holiday party. I have no shame! Dressing up makes me feel a zillion times better.
