I don’t think I’ve done a true outfit post on here in a while — I’ve constantly been touching on new topics throughout the year while sharing my OOTD pics. However, I wanted to get back to my roots today amid the holiday madness and share some good old outfit inspiration.
I always gravitate toward holiday outfits that I can wear all winter long. I currently use Rent the Runway Unlimited for all of the special occasion pieces that I know that I’ll only wear once, and try to purchase items on my own that I can wear over and over again.
This sheer maxi blue velvet dress from & Other Stories is a showstopper, and would look incredible at any holiday party you have left on your calendar (or New Year’s Eve!) It would also be a fantastic option for any winter date night or cocktail party you might have in the coming months. I will probably rock this dress at some of the blogger/media events I have on the horizon as well.
This blue velvet dress didn’t need that many accessories: I decided to belt it and pair it with my favorite hoops, sky-high booties, and the trusty clutch that I’ve had for years.
