Guys, I love fall in D.C. No, I’m not going to do a cheesy ode to Pumpkin Spice Lattes and changing leaf colors here: I’m talking about all of the amazing events happening in and around town.

One event that I’m looking forward to in particular? TheatreWeek, of course! TheatreWeek is September 21 to October 2  and is the perfect time to “binge watch” some theater. It’s a really awesome introduction to theater if you have never tried a live performance, or who aren’t aware of all that D.C. has to offer. There are more than 30 participating theaters including Woolly Mammoth, Shakespeare Theatre Company, and Mosaic Theatre Company.

What on earth does one wear to TheatreWeek, you ask? TheatreWeek is a time where you can show off your sassy, artsy side and have a little bit of fun with style! Put down your business casual attire and strap on your must fun ensemble for an unforgettable night out on the town. I opted for this Suno Dress and Opening Ceremony Bag from Rent the Runway — don’t forget, they have a store in Georgetown you can pop into and pick up a designer piece to wear the same night!

Don’t have tickets to TheatreWeek yet? Not a problem! TodayTix specializes in last minute tickets, and they also happen to be an official TheatreWeek partner. TheatreWeek tickets are available via the TodayTix mobile app and the deals will be posted on theatrwashington.org. It couldn’t be easier to support D.C.’s local theater scene!
