Guys: I love to shop. The thrill of walking into a store and finding a brand new ensemble that makes you feel like a rockstar? It’s a pretty amazing feeling!
One thing I don’t love shopping for, however? Bras. In the past, it’s seemed more like a chore to me than a fun shopping experience. For the longest time, I was wearing the wrong bra size and wondering why so many of my undergarments were gapping and looked a tad lumpy underneath my t-shirts.
Once I finally figured out my correct bra size, it’s been a total game changer. Now the challenge is: how do you find comfy yet stylish bras?
I was introduced to ThirdLove last year after they sent me a bra from their expanded line of nude shades. I was pretty thrilled that I could find a “nude” bra that matched my skin tone perfectly — not a lot of brands cater towards women of color, and it was the first time in my life that I owned a nude bra that matched my skin tone perfectly! Another thing I love about ThirdLove is that they offer half sizes. You’ll never have a bra that gaps again if you decide to order from this company!
For the holiday season, I decided to branch out and try a few of their fancier bras, underwear and loungewear options. One of my new favorites is the 24/7 Lace T-Shirt Bra. It looks perfect underneath of a t-shirt but has gorgeous lace detailing. There’s also no padding, so it’s ideal for everyday wear.
For when I need a little more oomph, I like to wear their Classic Contour Plunge Bra. It has removable padding, provides a fantastic, natural-looking lift, and is incredibly chic.
The last thing I picked up in my ThirdLove Haul? The Essential Organic Robe. I went for the S/M size, and it’s slim-fitting and incredibly cozy. I’ve already worn this piece around the house nearly all day (whoops!), and I plan on bringing it along on all of my upcoming trips — it comes with the most adorable travel bag!
