Oh hey! Bet you’re wondering why things look a little different in my little corner of the internet, huh? Well friends, for a few months now I’ve been scheming with Whitney, owner of Heart and Arrow, for a little rebranding of AliciaTenise.com. Why the heck did I decide to redesign my site you ask? I thought my previous layout was fine and functional, but after switching over to WordPress and having so much more freedom to customize my website, I decided to go big or go home and do a complete overhaul. I also wanted something a little grown up and sleeker, as the gold glitter was getting a little juvenile for me to be honest!
Whitney was absolutely fantastic to work with. I’m not just saying this because she’s my friend, but she’s a ridiculously talented designer who actually listens to your vision, as crazy as it might be, and brings it to life. I had a lot of insane ideas floating in my head about this redesign and I had a difficult time articulating what I wanted, but somehow Whitney was able to read my mind and come up with a design that I’m obsessed with. Another thing that I love about working with Whitney is that she is a pro at communication. She gave me a timeline and stuck to it, was incredibly responsive to any revisions I requested and she even gave me a comprehensive guide on how to navigate my new WordPress site after the design was finished. She’s the first designer that I’ve worked with that really showed that she cared about me and my site in the long run. Working with Whitney was easy, she’s a total professional, and you won’t be disappointed! I highly, highly recommend her.
Anyway, I hope you love the new site as much as I do! Happy Friday, y’all!
