Tailgate Tea Recipe

Tailgate Tea Recipe

I’m not going to lie: I don’t know much about football rules. However, I consider myself a professional snacker, and I love tailgate season’s food and beverage aspect.

I didn’t go to a college with a football team, but I got to experience college football later in life and fell in love. My first college football game was at the University of Texas – Austin, and their tailgate game was strong. I felt like a kid in the candy store — they had shut down several blocks leading up to the stadium, and I sampled some incredible BBQ, bought way too many Texas souvenirs, and sipped on some delicious cocktails.

Sadly, I don’t have plans to go to a tailgate anytime soon with my travel schedule, but it’s still nice to root for your favorite team at home. For your next football watch party, here’s a super easy cocktail to make at home: the Tailgate Tea.

Is anyone else an iced tea lover out there? This Southern-inspired recipe is super easy to make and tastes like a boozy Arnold Palmer. I love this recipe because you can make it in big batches, making it ideal for a tailgate party. It’s no fuss, no frills, but 100% delicious and elevated for gameday.
