I’ve officially been full-time blogging for two months now, so I figured I’d provide a mini update on how it’s going.
Y’all: it’s a ride. Ultimately it’s worth it, but I have a tendency to be incredibly hard on myself. I think this is one of the worst traits that I have. I’ve had some major wins and have landed a few brand ambassadorships that I cannot wait to share in the next few months, but I’ve also had a few lows: being an hour too late to reply to a sponsored campaign, shooting for a major magazine only for it to be scrapped, and waking up to see that your Instagram follower count has actually gone down, despite your best efforts.
Self-employment is difficult, and requires so much discipline. However, I have to remember to work hard, but not be too hard on myself. If one door shuts, another one will open.
In other news, I rocked this ensemble during my first day of fashion week. These pants are kind of everything right now! I’m rocking them with ankle booties at the moment, but plan on pairing them with strappy sandals and a tank in the warmer months. South Moon Under was the perfect place to do my NYFW shopping, I’m seriously obsessed with all of their new arrivals, and how easy it is to transition them from winter to spring!

Oh girl, I can definitely relate to the feelings you’ve been experiencing during this time! I have been full time blogging from the get-go, since I can’t actually hold down a real job due to my health, so the struggle can be super real sometimes, and it’s so easy to get down on yourself. BUT, know that you have a support system out here cheering you on as you conquer mountains and slay giants! You’re doing amazing – and looking fabulous 24/7!
