Dress: Free People | Boots: Steve Madden | Necklace: ℅ Kendra Scott | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Lip: Mac ‘Rebel’

You know whats semi-ironic? I’m posting a “going out” look yet I haven’t been out in weeks because of my bum arm. Womp womp. I went to a happy hour last week, got scared someone would run into my arm, and left after a few hours and vegged out on my mom’s couch for the rest of the weekend. I’m a riot, I know.

I love, love love rocking dresses during a night out on the town, even in the winter. However, bare legs or tights in January? Nope, your girl is still freezing. These over the knee boots from Steve Madden not only are a pretty decent Stuart Weitzman dupe (hi, hello, cannot afford $800 boots as a 25-year-old), but they’re crazy warm too. Boots as pants. It works, trust me.

Anyway, this dress/tunic type deal is also pretty versatile as well. I can pair this with leather leggings for a more laid back winter night out, or with OTK boots as shown here to be a lil’ more ~sassy~. It also comes in a few different colors too. Options, y’all.

  10. I love looks like this – girly, simple, and so effortless! I love wearing dresses as well, all year long! I’m going to attempt a look like this for some fun events tomorrow night 😉 I don’t have the OTK boots (yet!) but I can fake the look with some thigh high socks!
