Zara Embellished Floral Midi Dress - Why You Should Shop the Stage Stores x ThredUp Pop Up featured by Top DC fashion blogger, Alicia Tenise

You guys know that I love to both splurge and save when the time is right. Being a 20-something, there are some pieces that I’m willing to invest in, and there are some trendier items that I’d prefer to save on.

If you watched my Instagram Stories yesterday, you know that I headed out to Warrenton, VA to check out the brand new ThredUp x Stage Pop Up at Peebles. This isn’t your average secondhand shopping experience: you’re going to find pieces that you love at this pop-up from brands that you love.

While I was browsing the Stage x ThredUp Pop Up, I naturally gravitated towards the Zara pieces. I don’t have a Zara here in Charlottesville, so it’s always a treat whenever I get to shop these pieces in-person. Ultimately, I picked up this gorgeous brocade vest that you saw above for only $22, and the stunning midi dress that you see below for $20. What a steal, right? Both pieces were in impeccable condition, and I know they’ll be in heavy rotation this fall/holiday season.

Need a few more reasons why you should shop this pop-up?

They Carry The Best Brands

In addition to Zara, I spotted plenty of pieces from my favorite brands at the Stage x ThredUp Pop Up: J. Crew, Forever 21, Banana Republic, H&M, Express, Ann Taylor LOFT, Old Navy, Gap and more! Everything was like-new, and I was rather impressed with the quality of the garments I saw. ThredUp does a fantastic job with quality control, and this is far more elevated than your average thrifting experience.

The Discounts Are Steep

Did you know that you can score pieces that are up to 90% off estimated retail at ThredUp? Most of the pieces I saw at the ThredUp pop up were under $25, and you could easily pull together an entire outfit for less than $100

It’s the Only Place You Can Shop ThredUp in Person

Before this ThredUp pop up, I had a bit of experience consigning some pieces to ThredUp: it’s a huge online marketplace where you can buy and sell like-new women’s and kids’ clothing. Being able to see the pieces in person was a game-changer: it was incredible being able to feel the garments and try them on. Win-win! You’re guaranteed to come out with a piece that you love.
