Wow: what a weekend! Did anyone else wake up at the crack of dawn on Saturday to watch the Royal Wedding? I loved every minute of it, and now I’m spending the rest of this week scheming on how I can become an IRL princess myself. I loved Meghan Markle’s nod to her African-American heritage with the choir and the preacher — made me feel like I was back at my church that I grew up in! Also, can we talk about the way Harry looked at Meghan? Swoon! You can definitely tell that these two are madly in love.

While we’re on the topic of spring weddings — I have a few coming up this season that I’m looking forward to. You might not be a bride this year, but as a wedding guest, you can feel like a princess in this floral ruffle maxi dress. I love this spring wedding outfit because it’s perfect for those weddings where you’re a bit unsure of the wedding dress code. It works well in a cocktail setting, and with the length, it’s a fit for a black-tie optional affair as well. Best part? It’s less than $120!

If you’re not attending a wedding this season, this dress would also be a great option for your next vacation, date night, graduations, and more. I’ve worn it out and about in D.C. to a few media events, and had fun dancing the night away in this ruffled maxi dress. I paired it with my favorite bag of the moment: the Cult Gaia Circle Bamboo Bag. I can’t tell you how many compliments I get on this bag every time I wear it — it’s such a stunning, unique piece that pairs well with all of my spring/summer ensembles!
