Spring Shoe Guide

I’m not sure how appropriate a “spring” shoe guide is considering it was snowing just a few weeks ago and this week we’ve had temperatures in the 80s and 90s (yes, I made sure to take a few river trips for sure!) Just in case spring does want to make some kind of an appearance here in Richmond before summer hits us full force, here’s a roundup of shoes that I’ve been eyeing this season.

3. Wide Heel Sandal w/ Ankle Strap, Zara
4. Dig, Nine West
5. Ankle Strap Sandal, Zara
6. Vallin, Calvin Klein
I’m majorly looking forward to putting my pumps and ankle booties to rest and busting out the platform shoes and wedges! This season, I’m digging shoes with ethnic accents, cutouts, or even shoes with a minimal, sleek appearance.

2. Sidewalk Skimmer, Madewell
3. Printed Fabric Slipper, Zara
4. Lunna Flat, DV by Dolce Vita
I absolutely adore little ballet flats and loafers, but it seems to get so hot here in Richmond so fast, I’m only going to pick up a few this season. I’m loving flats and loafers in fun prints and bright colors, they’re great to jazz up any spring ensemble.

1. Scarlett Sandals, Rachel Zoe
2. Pilar Sandals, J.Crew
3. Joplin Flat Sandals, Rebecca Minkoff
4. Twist Sandal, Kimichi Blue
5. Honey, Shoemint
6. Manda Flat, Nasty Gal
Honestly, I live in flat strappy sandals like these over the summer. Flip flops should only be worn to the beach, so if you haven’t already go ahead and pick up a pair of flat, strappy sandals. They’ll instantly add way more polish to your ensemble than any pair of Rainbows could!
