Bad news: because of my crazy work schedule, I have not been able to leave the D.C./MD/VA area yet this summer.
Good news: there are dozens of wineries that are only an hour away from D.C.
You might have seen that in my other post, me and a few of my other blogger friends hopped on a bus and headed out to Northern Virginia’s stunning wine country a few weeks ago. This is definitely a much needed getaway from the hustle and bustle of D.C. I can’t believe that all of these gorgeous vineyards are only a short day trip away from the concrete jungle of D.C.
This particular venue is Hillsborough Vineyards. I’ve been to a few gorgeous vineyards in the area, but this one took our breath away. Highly recommend! If you’re a fan of whites, get the Opal. I’m thinking I need another winery trip with the gals ASAP…

Beautiful dress and great pictures
Ahhhh so fun! I did see your other winery post and I am as jealous now as I was then! Haha I looove wine but sadly, I’ve never been to a winery. It sounds like so much fun though! Love your relaxed summer look here too 🙂

Loving your easy summer look! Wineries are so much fun and provide such a relaxing day!
A beautiful dress 🙂
A winery near D.C.?! Awesome! What transportation do you take to get there, or do you have a car? Very curious, because I’d like to visit the next time I go to D.C.!
