Shop the Look (On Sale):
** This Shopbop Big Event Sale post was updated: 2/26/19
Happy Tuesday, friends: slightly adjusting my post schedule for the next couple of weeks since I’ll be traveling: I will now post on Tuesdays/Thursdays for the next couple of weeks!
It’s the most, wonderful time of the year: the Shopbop Annual Sale! Every year, this sale usually falls the week of my birthday, and I have zero complaints. It’s the perfect time to stock up for spring!
I’mm going to be completely candid: since I gained weight last year, I don’t fit into a lot of the spring basics that I currently own, and will almost be starting from scratch this year. Here are some staples and trendy pieces that are on my radar for this year’s Shopbop Annual Sale!
MY SHOPBOP SALE TOP PICKS:
Ruffle Sweatshirt | Polka Dot Top | Smocked Striped Tee | White Blouse
Denim Dress | Striped Dress | Leopard Dress | Off the Shoulder Dress
Polka Dot Skirt | Striped Pant | Denim Short | Rust Pant
Slide Sandals | Mules | Espadrilles | Greece Slides
Rattan Bag | Round Sunglasses | Annika Bag
How this sale works: you get 15% off purchases of $200+, 20% off purchases of $500+ and 25% off of purchases of $800+. Admittedly, the spending threshold is higher than last year’s sale, but if you take the time to stock up on spring/summer essentials, your cart can fill up quickly! This sale ends on March 3rd, 2019 but the good pieces always tend to sell out fast, so I would order your favorites ASAP!
Two types of items that I’m eyeing in this year’s sale: trendy pieces under $100, and investment pieces. All of the picks I shared above are under $100 with or without the discount — score! Definitely use this time to snag a new pair of shoes, a fun spring handbag (I think that this Cult Gaia bag will be the new ‘it’ bag of the season!), and some fun dresses and shorts.
A few investment pieces that I would recommend? Designer shoes, denim, and handbags are always worth it in the long run! I also have my eye on this Equipment Blouse; it’s a basic wardrobe essential that will last you for years to come.
