Sephora Spring Skincare Favorites

Sephora Spring Skincare Favorites by top US blogger, Alicia Tenise

So, this little thing called the Sephora Sale is happening soon. Have you heard of it?

In all seriousness, I love the Sephora Spring Savings Event, and I use it as a time to either stock up on skincare essentials or try out new beauty products. Here are some of my favorite Sephora Spring Skincare Essentials — products I’ve tried over the past few years and can vouch for! Just a reminder, you can get up to 20% off these products from April 5-15. Early access for Rouge members begins on April 5th, and VIB and Insider members can shop the sale starting April 9th.

For reference, I have oily/combination skin, but I live in a dry climate (Los Angeles). If you have dry skin, I’d recommend checking out Grace’s favorites because my suggestions may or may not apply to you!

17 Sephora Skincare Favorites for Spring

Necessaire The Hand Cream:

I never thought I would be obsessed with a hand cream, but here I am. My friends and family are also equally obsessed. Every time I let someone use this cream, they’re really impressed with the formula, and they either A. always ask if I have this cream on me to borrow it again, or B. wise up and buy their own. I will nudge some of my loved ones to order this product while it’s on sale!

Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream SPF 30:

Okay, okay—I know that this product has a hefty price tag. Why not try it during the sale?

This is one of, if not the, best Elemis product out there, and it’s consistently been good. I love the weight of this product: it’s not too heavy for my combination skin, but it does a fantastic job at keeping my skin hydrated in dry LA weather. A version is available without SPF if you want to use it at night, but I love the SPF in this product. It doesn’t leave a white cast and sinks into the skin beautifully.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir Face Mist:

This product is a unicorn. I use it in many ways, and my skin eats it up. I love this product so much that I always travel with a smaller version. Quite literally, I will not leave home without it!

I love this as a toner, a prep for makeup, a setting spray, and even a refresh throughout the day. This is just one of those brilliant products you can get a lot out of, and it is 100% worth the investment.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask:

Nobody has time for dry lips. After washing my face every night, I love using this lip sleeping mask to give my lips a boost of moisture. When I wake up, my lips feel soft, hydrated, and incredible after using this in the evening!

Biossance Squalane + BHA Pore-Minimizing Toner:

I ran out of toner last year, and after reading Grace’s blog, I decided to try Biossance products. And you all: I am hooked. I love how this product locks in moisture and helps improve the texture of my skin.

Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Firming Oil:

Another Biossance product that I love is their Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil. I like to use this in the morning after applying my toner, and it does a fantastic job of brightening and firming the skin.

Clarins Double Serum:

I started using this serum years ago, and even though I get sent so many serums to try, I keep going back to this one. It is such a classic formula that targets multiple skin concerns. Although it is marketed as an anti-aging product, I notice a difference in texture once I use it.

Kiehl’s Truly Targeted Acne-Clearing Pimple Patch:

Kiehl’s was kind enough to send me this product in a mailer last year, and I instantly became hooked. This is the best spot treatment for acne that I’ve ever used, and trust me, I’ve tried quite a few treatments. You can apply this up to three times a day, so if you want a blemish to disappear quickly, this will be your jam.

Farmacy Honeymoon Glow Body 12% AHA/BHA Bump-Smoothing Night Serum:

Another step I take for my body skincare routine? Using this Farmacy Body Serum! Their team sent it to me in a PR mailer last year, and I instantly became hooked. I never thought to use a serum for your body, but it just makes sense.
I use this product once a week at night, after showering, and before applying my body lotion. It really helps me lock in moisture (which is essential living in a dry climate!) and improve my skin’s texture. Let this product sink in overnight, and you’ll wake up to the smoothest skin you’ve ever had. Basically, I cannot live without this serum at this point!

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser:

This is a recent addition to my skincare routine, and I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to try out the Kiehl’s cleanser. I’m a big fan of Kiehl’s as a brand, and this cleanser is lovely. It’s gentle, but it feels fantastic on the skin, and it’s foaming. This cleanser is excellent for any skin type, but it works well to combat pores, acne, and uneven texture, which are my top 3 skin concerns.

Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Body Cream:

This lotion is the MVP and has become a holy grail product for me. It can get me through an entire day in super dry LA and keep all the moisture locked in! Plus, it has a heavenly scent.

Tata Harper Resurfacing BHA Glow Mask:

This is one of my favorite masks in my beauty cabinet. I love that it helps minimize my pores, evens out the texture of my skin, and gives me a healthy glow. It’s worth the investment!

Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Anti-Aging Eye Cream:

I’ve been using this eye cream for a little over a year now, and I find it to be pretty revolutionary. Last year, I spent a day with the Kiehl’s team, and they showed us how to “work out all four eye zones” with their Super Multi-Corrective Eye Cream, and my mind was blown.
You massage this product into your four “zones”: the brow bone area, eyelid, outer corners, and under-eye. It will lift the brow bone, smooth the eyelid, firm the corners of your eye, and depuff your undereye!

Peace Out Retinol Eye Stick:

This product has been a favorite of mine for a couple of years. I love a good retinol eye cream and was looking for something easy to travel with. I love that this product comes in a stick, which makes application easy. Just ensure the product is at room temperature so it spreads quickly and evenly! I like to use this product at night.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm:

At night, I like to double cleanse, and I start by using a cleansing balm to remove makeup, break down sunscreen, and really get a deep clean. I was so excited to see that Sephora started carrying Elemis in the past year—it’s been one of my go-to brands for years, and this is the perfect product to kick off my nightly skincare routine.

Dermalogica Liquid Peelfoliant Exfoliator:

Out of all the exfoliators I’ve tried over the years, this one packs a punch. It helps me improve the texture of my skin and reduce and prevent blemishes. I like to use this product at night, about 2-3 times a week.

Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40 PA+++:

This might be my favorite sunscreen ever. If you have oily/combination skin and want to reduce shine, this sunscreen has a mattifying effect that makes you look like you’re wearing a tinted moisturizer. It’s great to wear without makeup, but it also doubles as a primer.
