How I Spend NFL Sundays: NFL Party with Seagram’s

How I Spend NFL Sundays: NFL Party with Seagrams by Washington DC lifestyle blogger Alicia Tenise

Do you know what is one of my biggest pet peeves ever? When people are shocked that girls enjoy sports. Listen, I get it: I have a fashion blog, and I’m a huge girly-girl. I’d be the last person you would expect to enjoy a good game, right? Wrong! I love kicking it back with my girlfriends and watching football, hockey, and baseball and hosting a good NFL party!

DIY Cheese and Charcuterie Board, Old Bay Wings - How I Spend NFL Sundays: NFL Party with Seagrams by Washington DC lifestyle blogger Alicia Tenise

A few weeks ago, my friends from Charlottesville and I gathered together and caught some Sunday Night Football. Also, I may or may not have told my Steelers fan friend that I’m Baltimore born and bred, so that’s why I opted out of wearing my Ravens jersey at her house.

I was away from home when I planned this NFL party, so I wanted to make things simple since I didn’t have my own kitchen to prep. I picked up a bunch of snacks for me and my girls from Wegmans (they have the best pre-planned snacks section!) I opted for some charcuterie and cheese, fruit, molasses cookies and Old Bay Wings (don’t tell my friend who’s a Steelers fan that!) It’s a simple and cost-effective way to host a few friends and not slave over a stove all day.

My cocktail of choice for this NFL party? Seagram’s Escapes has a Game-Time Variety Pack that’s perfect for you and your girls on NFL Sunday! This Variety Pack includes the flavors Calypso Colada, Jamaican Me Happy, Peach Fuzzy and Strawberry Daquiri. My personal favorite out of the pack is the Strawberry Daiquiri, but they taste amazing on their own. You can also use these as mixers as well; there are so many easy cocktail recipes on Seagram’s website!

We took the Seagram’s Escapes Strawberry Daiquiri out of the pack to make a Strawberry Spike cocktail. This super easy recipe is below!

I will use your party ideas for our guests but we aren’t watching NFL anymore. We all watch something else together now.

  4. I’m only at the tail-gate or viewing party for the actual party… not the sports, but I feel ya girl!

How fun! And YES – I think I am even a bigger hockey fan than my hubs – and he used to PLAY!! I love sports and can watch SportsCenter all day long. LOVE the back stories and stuff of all of the players. And Seagram’s has been a staple in my house since I was 21 LOL
