As much as I love this new-ish red-ish hair, I have to say: it is a bit challenging to wear my favorite fall/winter color nowadays: the color red. It’s a pretty awkward moment to open your closet and realize that a significant portion of your wardrobe is the same exact color as your hair. Oops.
However, when I saw this sweater dress, I knew it had to be mine. It was super cozy and super versatile: this piece could be dressed up and down with ease. I wear it to work, happy hour, date night, you name it, it can be worn to it! I decided to layer a denim jacket over it to break things up and not have my red hair on top of a red dress.
Also, these boots right here? I cannot tell you how many compliments these babies got while I was in Austin this weekend. It’s a comfortable heel that I can walk miles in, and these shoes really elevate your overall look. I absolutely love pairing these with dresses as we transition to winter (eek!) — since it’s still a little to warm to break out the over-the-knee boots, this is an amazing, warm-weather substitute!
