It’s the most wonderful time of the year: the holidays are right around the corner!

Have you ever thought about renting your holiday wardrobe? I don’t know about you, but in the past, whenever I’ve purchased a new outfit for a holiday party, I usually end up only wearing it once or twice. That’s why I like to rent looks every season from Rent the Runway for the parties and gatherings I get invited to!

Think about it: renting this holiday season is a brilliant idea. How often are you really going to wear a ballgown or a sequin jumpsuit? I’m sharing some of my new favorite holiday pieces from Rent the Runway this season — you can rent an outfit here for any occasion! Also, if you want to try out Rent the Runway for yourself this holiday season, use my code “CHEW50” for 50% off your first month of RTR Unlimited!

Rent the Runway Unlimited: How it Works

Wondering how Rent the Runway Unlimited works? For a monthly fee, you can rent four pieces from Rent the Runway at a time. This can be anything: dresses, jumpsuits, outerwear, bags, jewelry…you name it, you can rent it! You can swap out the pieces as often (or as little) as you’d like, and if you ever want to rent more than four pieces at a time, you can add extra spots for a small fee.

When you’re ready to return your items, just insert the prepaid UPS label located inside your package into the front sleeve and drop off the package at your nearest UPS location. You can also return your items to Rent the Runway stores or partnering WeWork locations.

Pro tip: I like to return my Rent The Runway items in the middle of the week so that I have spots opened up on the weekends. New arrivals are added to the app every Saturday, so that’s when I typically place my new orders!

Rent The Runway Holiday Outfit #1: the Perfect Plaid Dress for Christmas Eve

First things first: let’s talk about what to wear for a family gathering this holiday season! I love this tunic dress from Sail to Table because it’s classic, yet will turn heads. The length is perfect, and it’s a classy, polished option for a Christmas Eve dinner. The velvet trim gives this piece a bit of extra flair, and since it’s not super fitted, it’s a very comfortable option as well.

You can pair this dress with a pair of pumps, or tights and boots if it’s a bit colder in your neck of the woods!

Rent The Runway Holiday Outfit #2: a Power Blazer for your Work Holiday Party

If a blazer is good enough for a supermodel, it must be a great pick, right?

I spotted Iskra wearing this Tanya Taylor blazer a few weeks ago at an awards show, and I fell in love. Lo and behold, I found the same exact blazer on Rent the Runway’s website the very next day! I absolutely adore this piece, and I think it’s super versatile. You can wear it with black slacks, jeans, or you can even pair it with the matching pants

Rent The Runway Holiday Outfit #3: a Sparkly Jumpsuit for a Holiday Dance Party

Ready to boogie the night away? This glitter jumpsuit by Jonathan Simkhai is sure to turn heads! Let me tell you: this jumpsuit was so comfortable and flattering. I almost fell asleep in it after this photoshoot…it’s that cozy! Plus, it’s perfect for those super chilly nights during the holiday season.

I’m pictured wearing a size 6 regular, but I would probably swap this out for a size 6 long so I can wear it with heels (I’m 5’7″ for reference, so sometimes I’m on the cusp of Regular/Long lengths!) This jumpsuit is also available in petite sizes as well.

Rent The Runway Holiday Outfit #4: A Sequin Dress to Ring in the New Year

Is it really the holidays if you don’t rock a sequin dress at least once? I think not!

I’m loving this sassy one-shouldered dress by Marchesa Notte. Let’s face it: it’s hard to find a sequin dress for less than $100, so if you can rent a $700 designer dress, you should go for it!

This dress is perfect for New Year’s Eve, or any fancy cocktail functions you might have on your calendar this holiday season. I was blown away at the quality of this dress, and I thought it was stunning IRL!
