Okay okay, this is probably the sassiest little thing I’ve ever worn on the blog and I am absolutely loving it. As most of you know, I was in Charleston over the weekend for the third annual Southern Blog Society conference. I love blogger conferences because hey — it’s a chance for me to take some risks and really bust out some fun fashion forward looks.
Rather than stressing out over purchasing a new wardrobe for this 3-day conference, I decided to visit the Rent The Runway store in D.C. to pull a few looks for this fabulous event. I booked an appointment a few weeks before SBScon and I worked with a stylist who pulled some looks for me before I even arrived at the store. Since she overheard I was a fashion blogger, she chose a few more edgier pieces which I was super thankful for.
This amazing Rachel Zoe lapel dress was sitting in my fitting room when I arrived to the store. As soon as I put it on, I knew it had to be mine. Seriously, I didn’t want to take it off! We had a blast trying on all sorts of daring ensembles, and I have a super long list of dresses and jumpsuits that I plan on wearing for future events. I also loved being able to ship a couple of outfits directly to my hotel in Charleston rather than cramming my suitcase. Overall, I loved this entire experience and I cannot wait to do it again! Now, someone invite me to something fancy please 🙂
