When Payless sent me these shoes for this amazing 3-parter campaign, I’m not gonna lie: they were a little outside of my comfort zone. I have a pretty tried and true feminine style, and these super cool lace up boots were a little intimidating to style at first.

Then, I went to New York Fashion Week. And like I’ve said in prior posts, NYFW makes me feel like an edgy queen. I’m not going to lie, it’s kind of easy to stick to a little more of a conservative style living here, but being surrounded by fashion risk takers really encouraged me to try something outside of my comfort zone!

I decided to pair these fun boots with a leather dress and a choker for a fun, 90’s vibe. These boots are actually one of the comfiest pair of shoes that I own, and I plan on rocking them with some of my floral dresses to give them a little bit of edge. Am I finally a cool girl now? I’m not sure, but these boots are certainly a step in the right direction!
