WORK ON YOUR WELLNESS IN PARADISE COAST

Vacation Well in Paradise. I have to admit: the idea of a “wellness retreat” was something that has intimidated me in the past, but after going on a few wellness getaways this past year, I’m all in!

If you’re a health and fitness lover, Paradise Coast in Florida is right up your alley. The Naples, FL area has been ranked the happiest and healthiest city in the U.S. for four years in a row, and it is the only destination to have been awarded this consecutively for four years. From yoga on the beach to biking, paddle-boarding, and kayaking, there are so many ways you can get up, get active, and explore the great outdoors at Florida’s Paradise Coast.

After your workout, head to one of the many award-winning, luxury spas in the region for a little rest and relaxation. You can find many types of spa treatments in this region: from traditional therapies to Balinese-style massages and feng shui methods.

Dig Into Delicious on Florida’s Paradise Coast. Paradise Coast is an ideal getaway for any food lover: here, you can enjoy fresh Gulf-to-table cuisine. Many restaurants here use locally sourced fresh ingredients, and there is an endless amount of great dining options in the region.

Paradise Coast’s Restaurant Week occurs twice a year (Winter and Summer), and dozens of restaurants participate. Here, you can try 3-course meals at a discounted price. From cosmopolitan dining to laid back grub, there’s a lot of different dining options to try!

THE GULF COAST + EVERGLADES

At Naples and Marco Island, you can enjoy 30 miles of wide, white sand and sparkling Gulf waters. These award-winning beaches are some of the best in the country and are calling your name! Some of the top beaches in the area include Vanderbilt Beach, Tigertail Beach Park, South Beach, and Naples Municipal Beach.

Also: did you know that the Everglades contain both temperate and tropical plant communities? If you’re a lover of the great outdoors, I’d plan on either a swamp walk or a canoe trip through Florida’s Everglades. It is truly a gem, and you won’t want to miss an opportunity to view the region’s unique saw grass marshes and mangrove forests, along with the endangered, rare, and exotic wildlife.

NO PASSPORT REQUIRED

The best part about Paradise Coast in Florida? For U.S. citizens, there’s no passport required. As much as I love traveling internationally, when I plan family trips or getaways with my friends, it’s just easier to explore a destination within the continental U.S.

It’s also pretty easy to get to Florida’s Paradise Coast: you can hop on a flight to the Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW), or drive down I-75 if you live a bit closer to the region.
