You guys: I think I might have experienced my first “southern” December this past weekend.
I had to bid adieu to my cozy sweaters and all the new outerwear I had just scooped up, because it was 75 and sunny in the District. I guess I finally know how my friends in the deep, deep south feel during the holidays, and if I wasn’t a Yankee at heart I’d move down there in a heartbeat. But alas, D.C. is really the farthest south I plan on moving. For now.
Anyway, I still rocked a pair of over the knee boots and some versatile holiday pieces from Old Navy. I love this dress and this purse because they aren’t too overly festive and these are pieces I can rock throughout the rest of the season. The bag will be a great girls night out piece, and the dress paired with tights, booties and a coat will be perfect for work.
