Slowly but surely, I’m getting these NYFW recaps out, right? I had a jam-packed schedule, and admittedly it’s taken me a while to sort through all of my photos (and edit them — I’m not used to that!) This is my first time being at NYFW for the entire week, so I wasn’t quite prepared for all of the content I’d get out of my trip!
Anyway — let’s get to it. I think Day 3 was my favorite day, hands down!
Shop Day #3’s Outfit:
Day 3: 11:00 AM
We kicked off our day with manicures with Kendra Scott at Paintbox Soho. I’m a huge fan of Kendra Scott’s nail lacquers, I’ve gotten several manicures using their products, and they’re incredibly long lasting! We also got to peek at some of the Fall 2018 collection, and I’m in love with it. I decided to wear my favorite piece from the collection during the day, these gorgeous turquoise tassel earrings.

Backstage at Tibi with Aveda
One thing I picked up from being backstage at Tibi with Aveda? Barrettes are coming back, in a major way. To get the look, the Aveda team sprayed their Texture Tonic (one of my favorite hair products, by the way) on the models’ hair to enhance the model’s natural hair. Then, they placed three barrettes in the back for some unexpected flair. This is a look I’ll try to recreate this fall!
While I was backstage, I asked the Aveda team to touch up my waves. They used the Texture Tonic to give me a messy, beachy wave which lasted for the rest of the day.

Tibi
Tibi is always one of my favorite shows, and this season did not disappoint. This season’s pieces were modeled by both women and men, and it was a gender-neutral dream. I spotted a lot of incredible suits with boxier fits, relaxed jeans and a bold color palette filled with shades of blue, yellow, orange, and a few classic pastels as well. Also, are flip-flops making a comeback? If so, I’m here for the comfort.
Kendra Scott x Vogue
We headed back to Spring Studios later in the evening to check out the Kendra Scott x Vogue event, which is easily one of my favorite events I’ve ever attended at NYFW. We got to preview their brand new Charms Collection, which was incredible. I designed a pair of hoop earrings at the event, and I’ve been wearing them nonstop ever since (seriously — I wear them at least twice a week!) I also got to meet the woman who inspired me to start a blog, Blair from Atlantic-Pacific. She was SO sweet, chatted with Greta and me for a bit, and I’m now really excited for her clothing line to launch.
Day 5: 10:00 AM
I have to move hotels this morning (and say goodbye to my NYFW roommates — I’d be staying alone for the rest of the week!), so I checked out, and have an early breakfast with a friend who I haven’t seen from high school.

Backstage with O&M at Zero + Maria Cornejo
I loved the styling from O&M at the Zero + Maria Cornejo show — the overall look was beautifully undone waves that made women the best versions of themselves. The inspiration? Strong females that weren’t afraid to share their voice. After the models’ hair was blow-dried, the stylists applied the Project Sukuroi™ Golden Smoothing Balm to add texture, curled the hair with a 1.5-inch curling iron and applied the Frizzy Logic™ Finishing Shine Spray for some extra shine.
