Shop My Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Purchases:
Have you heard of this little thing called the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? I’m sure you haven’t seen it on a million blogs by now. However, there’s a reason why everyone and their mother is chatting about this sale: it’s pretty darn good.
Not going to lie, I was a little underwhelmed at first when I started browsing the sale online. A lot of items were repetitive, and pieces I’ve seen during sales in the past. However, once you get to try some of the pieces on and feel the quality of the product IRL, the sale items grow on you. I’ve made three orders now…whoops!
Here’s what I decided to scoop up during this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!
Sale Pick: Button Back Shirt | White Denim Mini | Studded Sandals | Similar Handbag
Spoiler alert: most of the pieces I snagged from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale are by Madewell. I’ve been pretty obsessed with Madewell for the last decade, so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get some of their pieces on sale! The first piece I fell in love with was this button back shirt. I’m rocking it with my trusty white denim mini skirt now and will pair it with jeans and a leather jacket in the fall. If you’re in between sizes, I would size down. I’m wearing an XS in this top.
Sale Pick: Bold Floral Midi Dress
True life: I tried to wear this out to dinner, and my waiter commented that I dressed perfectly for fall, so we’re going to save this dress for September 😂😂 Regardless, I’m obsessed with it: I love the cutout detail in the back, and the bold print will turn heads. I got a US 4 in this dress, but if you’re a bit bustier I, would size up.
Sale Picks: Black High-Waisted Jeans & Leopard Crossbody Bag | White Tank Top | Earrings
I’m a big fan of Madewell jeans, so I knew I had to scoop up a new pair during the sale. To be honest, I gained a bit of weight after my knee injury, and I never lost all of it, so I’m slowly but surely replacing all of my jeans. I opted for a size 27 in these jeans, and they feel super comfortable — comfortable enough to go out and have a full meal in!
I also browse whatever Rebecca Minkoff bags are on sale during this period, and I fell in love with this classic leopard crossbody bag. I somehow lost my go-to leopard clutch over the years, so this was a fabulous replacement!
Sale Pick: Coma Stretch Bootie
Fun fact: I have narrow feet. I loathe shoe shopping because so many pairs of shoes simply don’t fit me properly. However, I’ve found that Jeffery Campbell’s shoes are cut a bit narrower, so I knew I had to scoop up a pair of his booties during this sale. There’s a 100% chance I’m bringing these bad boys to NYFW: they’re super sleek and chic in person!
