I’ve mentioned this before on the blog, but I suffer from pretty bad migraines. I started getting migraines when I was 14 years old, and I have to take this pretty dreadful prescription medicine whenever I get one that puts me straight to bed. Naturally, I want to do everything in my power to get rid of migraines; I really can’t handle taking my medicine during the day and have throw off my daily routine.
Last fall, I kept getting migraines several times a week, and my doctor told me that I needed to pretty much modify my lifestyle in order to prevent them. One thing he suggested was eating every 2-3 hours, rather than eating three big meals a day. Yikes. As hungry of a girl that I am, that was a pretty tricky task to accomplish!
That being said, I’m always on the lookout for a delicious snack to add to my inventory since I’m not really preparing massive meals for myself anymore. One of my favorite on-the-go snacks is the new noosa tart&sweet yohgurt. I was a little hesitant to try it since I really do not have much of a sweet tooth, but this was savory enough for my liking! The ingreedients tasted incredibly fresh, and it had just the right amount of sour taste for my liking (don’t worry, it’s not too tart!)
When I’m super, super hungry, I put this yoghurt over some crackers to really satisfy my hunger (what can I say, I wake up and I am starving!) It’s a super easy breakfast option, and it also has enough sweetness to serve as an afternoon snack or even a dessert. It really is unlike any other yohgurt on the market at the moment!
Suddenly, it’s not so hard to eat every 2-3 hours…

I used to have migraines all the time. And if I didn’t eat they would make me nauseous as well. I always keep a snack on me as well. Haven’t tried Noosa, but definitely will be trying it for not only snack time but for breakfast.
I absolutely LOVE Noosa! My husband got hooked on them and I couldn’t figure out why he loved them so much until I finally tried it too. ha! So filling and one of my fav snacks!

My son and I absolutely love this yogurt! It is so amazing and such a great healthy snack!
I have the worst chronic migraines. And I definitely need to eat more with them. I think noosa is such a good choice of food. They have really good flavors (I love the lemon), they’re delicious, and it’s yogurt so…probiotics!
Yogurt really is the perfect in-between snack. These pictures are too cute!

I get migraines too but I’m pretty sure it’s not because I don’t eat since I’m always eating haha!
YUM! Love these shots!
I am so sorry to hear about your migraines. I started getting them two years ago and have been trying to find different ways to prevent/reduce them. Having great snacks, such as Noosa, is so important for me to keep my blood sugar stable (since I have found this is a cause of my migraines). I can’t wait to try these new flavors.
