What’s everyone doing for New Year’s Eve this year? Truth be told, I still have no clue where I’ll be or what I’ll be up to when the ball drops this year.

My boyfriend and I can’t even seem to nail down a city to celebrate in this year — he lives in Charlottesville, VA, and I live in Philly. We’re both a little too indecisive and haven’t made any concrete plans just yet. Whoops.

Anyway. Since I have no idea what I’m doing, I still wanted to share some New Years Eve outfit ideas — however, I didn’t buy any of these pieces specifically for New Year’s Eve. These are all items that I had in my closet and aren’t the typical sequin, shiny dresses that I might sport. Don’t get me wrong; I love a super extra dress. However, I think I’m starting to grow out of my era of gold sequin dresses

I picked up this blush wide leg jumpsuit back in November and intended to wear it to a few holiday parties this year. I loved that it was something that didn’t necessarily scream “holiday,” and the color was incredible to me (a holiday look that’s not green, red or gold? Sold!) Also, I’m still wearing a super bulky, hinged knee brace, and the pants are wide enough for me to wear my jumpsuit over my knee brace. I normally have to wear my knee brace over my jeans/pants and it is not pretty to look at, so I have a feeling that I’ll embrace a few more wide-leg pants over the winter!

I plan on rocking this with flats because I still can’t really wear heels for longer than a photo shoot due to my knee. This leopard coat is an oldie but goodie (I’ve worn it a million times on the blog, see here and here). A leopard coat is so much fun to wear on a winter night out, and it’s been my go-to for years! This new version from BB Dakota will fit the bill — and is a great piece to dress up an otherwise casual outfit.
