Listen: this fall has already been full of surprises. We’re one day into the season, and I’m actually experiencing fall temps? Usually, it’s in the 80s this time of year in Virginia, but I’m not complaining about this weather!  Especially because it means I finally get to cross off all of the items on my fall bucket list!

The fall of 2020 is going to look a lot different than years past. However, that doesn’t mean that we can’t make the most of it! Just wear a mask, keep your distance, and participate in your favorite fall activities safely.

Want to know what’s on my fall bucket list this year? Here’s what I had in mind!

Fall Bucket List

Apple Picking

I normally travel a lot during the fall, but this year is the exception! I’m totally fine to explore the great state of Virginia during this time, however. One thing that I still haven’t done is gone apple picking. I’ve been to a few orchards, but have never snagged some apples for myself! That is one thing that’s on my list for this year.

Put the Finishing Touches on our House

Another thing I haven’t been able to do in the fall because I used to travel so much? Fully decorate my house for fall. Sure, I would update my bar cart or my front porch, but I never really dived in. This year, I’m planning on going all out!

Learn New Fall Recipes

Anyone else ready to get cozy? I’ve been loving the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew from Starbucks (light on the cream and syrup!), but I love making lattes and coffee at home. I’m hoping to perfect my coffee recipe so that I can enjoy it on these chilly fall mornings!

I also want to incorporate some more fall ingredients into my recipes as well. Apples, squash, pumpkin, cinnamon, you name it! I’m hoping to really take advantage of the season and to make new traditions this year.
