Shop My Must Have Travel Accessories:
This probably comes as no surprise, but I’m on the road more than I’m at home. I’ve become a really efficient packer over the years because I often have to unpack and repack for trips with a moment’s notice. Because of my hectic travel schedule, I’m always looking for the best organizers and accessories that will make packing a bit more foolproof. I’ve gone through a bit of trial and error over the years, but I’m really happy with my current system!
I’ve shared some of my favorite tech items to travel with in the past, but here’s a roundup of my favorite must have travel accessories and organizers that will make your life much easier when you travel.
Must Have Travel Accessories:
1. Passport Holder
I feel a zillion times more organized when I travel with my passport holder. Not only does it keep my passport protected from scratches and dings, but the one that I have has card slots so I can use it as a wallet while I’m at the airport or out and about in a foreign country.
The biggest benefit? Most passport holders come with RFID blocking material to prevent digital theft.
2. Portable Battery Pack
Even though you might have a long flight, you never know if your airline will have an outlet for you to charge up your phone/other electronics. I’ve been traveling with this metallic rose gold charger for years, and not only is it stylish, but it holds up to about four full charges for my phone. The best part? There are two ports, just in case your travel buddy needs a charge, or if you want to charge your phone and your wireless headphones/tablet/etc. at the same time.
3. Glasses Travel Case
This is an item I picked up last year for my Argentina trip, and it is a game-changer! I have prescription glasses, and I love to travel with at least 1-2 pairs of sunglasses while on vacation, and I used to carry all 2-3 pairs of glasses in their own individual cases. I take out my contacts before long flights and need my glasses case in my carry on, and this makes it easier to keep all my beloved glasses together in one place!
4. Makeup/Toiletries Bag
I’ve tried a lot of different cosmetics bags, but hands down, my absolute favorite one that I’ve used is the Vera Bradley Iconic Large Brush and Blush Case. It’s the one organizer that’s large enough to fit all of my toiletries and makeup in one place but can still fit comfortably in my carry on or personal bag. Mine has held up pretty well over the past year (I use it about once every two weeks), and I’ll probably replace it in a couple of months, but for the average person, this could last you for years.
5. Jewelry Organizer
Can I admit something to you all? I used to carry all my jewelry in the pocket of my carry on in little pouches. I can’t tell you how many pieces of jewelry that ended up breaking with this method!
A blogger that I follow shared this super affordable jewelry case that she purchased off of Amazon, and I quickly snatched it up. It held up for a little over a year (with frequent travel!), but I recently decided to splurge and upgrade to this Cuyana travel jewelry case. I had mine monogrammed, and I think the quality is superior (and it would make for a great gift!)
