Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

Can you believe May is only a few weeks away? That means that Mother’s Day is right around the corner. We’ll most likely be celebrating virtually this year, and I’m a little sad that my mom and I can’t go to our favorite restaurant in Northern Virginia to celebrate. However, I still plan on shipping my mom a gift to make Mother’s Day feel as normal as possible! And luckily there are some Mother’s Day gift ideas out there.

If you haven’t picked up a gift for the most important woman in your life yet, now is the time to do so. Shipping times have been delayed across the board due to the pandemic, so I would place your order by the end of this week to ensure that mom gets her gift in time. Plus, Sephora is having their big sale from now until April 29th — it’s a great time to pick up the perfect gift for mom, and save a bit of money while doing so!

Some gifts that were big hits in the past? My mom absolutely loves the pajamas from Soma Intimates (you can get a set for $49 right now, too!), fragrances are always a solid bet, and my mom is a big fan of Kendra Scott jewelry. If I had the budget, I’d get my mom the diamond tennis bracelet she deserves…but until then, we’ll stick to some of these attainable gift picks!

If you’re looking for budget-friendly gift options this year, I adore this personalized cutting board (only $25), and I think mom would love this book where you can jot down all the reasons you love her and share special memories you’ve had with her (less than $10).

A lot of us might not be able to physically be with our mothers this year, but you can ship her a gift, drop a card in the mail, and/or set up a FaceTime brunch date with her. We’re going to have to celebrate mom a little differently this year, but we’re all in this together!
