If you didn’t catch Monday’s post, I’m teaming up with Ann Taylor to show off my favorite spots in D.C. In the last post, I discussed my favorite D.C. cupcake spot.
As much as I love the hustle and bustle of city life, sometimes I need to get away from it all. With my crazy schedule, it’s rare that I get to leave the D.C. area, so I’m always in need of a local escape. That’s why I love to visit Meridian Hill Park in Columbia Heights. During the weekdays, it’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery and, most importantly, people watch. I love to come here with friends, bring a few snacks, hang out near the fountains and just take everything in.
Fun fact: Meridian Hill Park is also home to the largest cascading fountain in North America. Who knew such a gem would be awaiting you in a free, public park?
This outfit is SO cute on you! I love the fit of those pants.
So stunning!! This outfit is so good and haven’t been to this DC spot! Now I know I need to! Xo! – Julien, http://www.itsjulien.com
Meridian Hill Park is one of my favorite spots in DC to do photo sessions – although there are is always another session (or five) going on at the same time, so clearly it’s on a few people’s list! As it should be, it’s absolutely gorgeous!
