Marsala

I totally have to admit that I hoard certain pieces. For example, I definitely hoard leather skirts and burgundy tops (or “marsala tops,” if I want to make myself seem fashion forward even though I wear this color religiously every fall/winter). I really like marsala because let’s face it, it can be a little difficult to add color to your wardrobe in the dead of winter. If I wasn’t rocking marsala, I’d most likely be wearing black, ivory and grey every single day. Not a bad thing, but I’m a girl who needs a punch of color.

Also, I’ve been wearing this coat nonstop ever since I got it. Can you believe that this is the very first time I’ve owned a black coat? I normally think they’re super boring, but the leather details on this jacket gave it a lot of flair. Definitely not the average black coat you spot on the metro!

I just bought my first black coat this winter too! But now I’m wearing it a little too much.

  5. That marsala colored blouse is so pretty on you! The perfect shade – hope you’ll show us more marsala finds that you’ll get this Spring! (I just call it burgundy too and wear it religiously as well…).
