Can I be quite honest here? I’ve been kind of down these last few days.

I’m ridiculously nervous for my upcoming cubital/carpal tunnel surgery. As much as I joke about how I’m going to take Tinder profile pics in my sweet bandage/splint after my surgery (don’t worry, I’ll still do that), going under the knife is pretty scary. I’m also just straight up frustrated that my condition has deteriorated pretty badly in the last week. I can’t grip a steering wheel long enough to drive myself to work. I can’t hold on to a fork while eating dinner. Actually, the fact that I can’t do these things is lowkey funny, but I’m just really uncomfortable at this point and it’s making me less motivated to do anything/everything.

Anyway, I’m just in a weird funk right now. To put things in perspective though, I’m incredibly thankful for my family and friends who are looking out for me though all of this mess. As much as I want to be a strong independent woman (lol), it’s kind of hard to do that when one of your arms will be out of comission.

So, about the fashion: I’m also kind of tired of the holiday stuff right now and I’m sure you all are too, so here’s an easy, casual weekend look that I’ve been rocking on repeat lately. These destroyed jeans are even approved by my mother, which is a really big deal guys.
