Back when I had a 9-5, I shopped for pieces that took me from work to the weekend with ease. What can I say: I was a girl who was on a very limited budget! Even though I work at home, for myself now, I still like to find new ways to rewear a single item.

LOFT has been one of my go-to’s for affordable, versatile pieces ever since I graduated from college. As soon as I landed my very first big-girl job interview, I immediately went to my local store and stocked up on all the workwear pieces. Once I got the coveted 9-5 position, I kept shopping at LOFT and stocked up on a ton of pieces that I could wear both in and out of the office. While the pieces they carry are on-trend, I find them to be elevated yet attainable.
We all love florals for spring, right? I decided to pick up this floral romper from LOFT that I can dress up or down with ease. What I love the most about this romper is that it isn’t super short, and it could definitely pass as a dress from the front. I love going to wineries and outdoor concerts over the spring and summer, and sometimes I have to sit on a lawn on a blanket, and it’s a lot easier to do so when you’re wearing shorts or pants.
To take this floral romper from day to night, I swapped out the mules for a pair of platform heels, added a white blazer, and unbuttoned the top button of the romper to make it look a little more sassy for date night. Add your favorite structured handbag, and you’re ready for a night out on the town.
