You know what’s my absolute favorite thing about fall? Busting out my favorite plaid pieces! From scarves to dresses to flannels, there are so many ways you can rock plaid this season. I’m here to show you five of my favorite ways to rock plaid this fall!

1. The Plaid Shirt

This is probably my favorite way to wear plaid — in the form of a classic button-down shirt. It’s super versatile and you can dress it up with a fun leather skirt like I did, or you can dress it down with a pair of jeans and riding boots.

2. The Plaid Dress

This option is perfect for all you girly-girls out there: the plaid dress is perfect for fall and it’s a standby for me during the holidays (yes, friends, we’re hardly into October and I already have a holiday mention for you all. Sorry friends). Pair it with bare legs and heels or with tights and boots when it gets a bit chilly out.

3. The Plaid Coat

I picked up this checked plaid coat last year and boy, I don’t think I’ve ever received so many compliments on a jacket before! I opted for a neutral black and white pattern so it could match with as many outfits as possible.

4. The Plaid Scarf

Ah, the infamous blanket scarf. You have no idea how much of a game-changer this scarf has been for me during colder months. I may or may not have busted mine out during this chilly weekend! Pair it with jeans, dresses, work ensembles, the sky is the limit and this type of scarf is an ideal accessory for colder months!
