So, I just booked a beach trip for the 4th of July. Like, yesterday. Last minute, it’s just how I roll y’all when it comes to booking vacations. I’ve spent the last couple of 4th of July’s in D.C., and since I grew up in the area I’ve watched the firework show on the National Mall plenty of times in my life. Even though D.C. has the best festivities in the country, it’s always nice to get out of town and just relax. Oh, and dodge the hoards of tourists invading my hometown!
Anyway, the new Lilly Pulitzer shop opened up in Georgetown a few weeks ago and it’s seriously stunning guys! First off, I don’t know how D.C. survived so long without one because it’s a staple in the area. I brought this breezy, fun tunic with me to Punta Cana, and I plan on bringing it with me to Ocean City as well. Now that I’ve started rocking Lilly on vacation, how will I ever stop? I have my eye on a few Lilly bags as well that I might scoop up before I head to the beach this weekend.
What are your plans for the 4th of July? And better yet, what’s the cool, hip thing to do in Ocean City, MD guys? I haven’t been in a hot minute! Any and all suggestions are appreciated, kthnx.
