Ok, after a downright cold weekend here in D.C., I’m majorly inspired to get my fall/winter wardrobe on lock. Sweaters, turtlenecks, outerwear — if it’s warm, I want it. I’m obsessed with this Lafayette 148 cotton and cashmere dress: it’s one of the coziest sweater dresses I own and I feel like a million bucks in it. Scratch that, actually I feel like a gajillion bucks in it because it’s that amazing. I could sleep in it. Ok, I’ve been so comfortable in it, I may have taken a few naps in it. Whoops.
Lafayette 148 is an amazing line full of incredible investment pieces (like this, this, and this) to replace the heavy parkas. Pieces that are neutral enough to wear to work, but beautiful enough to wear out or to weddings. Dresses with interest through texture. not too form fitting making it comfortable and flattering. Pants that are easy to pair with anything, and wide length and pleat in the front creates comfort.
As I slowly build my “adult” wardrobe, it’s great to invest in classic, quality pieces. I cannot wait to scoop up more Lafayette 148 pieces in the future!
This is perfect for the season and I LOVE it with the bag – so chic!
