Indian Summer Outfit:
When I left for my Austin trip last week, it was 80 degrees and humid. When I returned home from my Austin trip this past Monday, it was 80 degrees and humid. I was expecting to come home to colder weather, but Mother Nature always has a mind of her own!
I feel like every year; fall just gets hotter and hotter. There’s no need to get into my climate change concerns, but over the last few years, I’ve gotten the hang of dressing for those 80 degree October days.
I knew it was going to be a zillion degrees during my Austin trip, so I decided to wear this plaid pinafore dress, and styled it with a cropped white t-shirt, white booties, and a fun hat. I still sweated throughout the day (hello, Texas), but I was still pretty comfortable, all things considered. This Indian summer outfit would also look incredible paired with a turtleneck and over the knee boots for when fall decides to make an appearance!
On a side note: for all of my D.C. friends, did you know that I’ll be speaking on a panel at the LikeToKnow. It book tour next week with three other super talented influencers?
