Can I be real candid here? You really find out who your real friends are when you make a long-distance move.
It’s cool to see who really makes an effort to hang before you go, and it’s disappointing to see those who don’t seem to care. However, life’s really too short to be hung up on the people who don’t care. At this point, I’m ready to sail on to the next chapter of my life and keep in touch with my D.C. peeps who truly have my back!
Anyway, mini little personal rant aside: we need to talk about these shoes. I went to a Hush Puppies dinner a few weeks ago and got the chance to mingle with their PR team and learn more about this fab brand. These mules right here? The most comfortable shoe I own, hands down! I’m flat footed so I actually need some sort of a heel on my shoes, and I can run around town all day in these babies. In fact, I even wore these shoes to the airport in Phoenix. Yup. They’re that good.
And also, side note: this top is on major sale right now and I’ve been wearing it nonstop! I’ve had it for weeks now and I’m just getting it up on the blog, but it’s such a fun button down with an unexpected back detail!
