As someone who wrote a fall-themed book…you knew As someone who wrote a fall-themed book…you knew this #WineWednesday was coming. Now is the perfect time to start planning your fall wine trips! 🍂🍷

Fall is hands down my favorite time to go wine tasting because it’s harvest season, and wineries are ready to CELEBRATE all their hard work! It’s also a great time to see vines at their peak — they’re full, lush, and incredibly picturesque.

My favorite places to go wine tasting in the fall in the U.S. —

1. Sonoma — Dry Creek Valley is magical, and you get a little vine foliage too in late October/early November!

2. Charlottesville — go in late October. The leaf-peeping is spectacular, and the Blue Ridge Mountains outdo themselves that time of year.

3. Texas Hill Country — The weather is pretty glorious here in November (cools down significantly!), and Texas wine is super underrated, IMO!

4. New York — you can’t beat the leaf-peeping in New York! Either the Finger Lakes or Long Island are idyllic in October.

If you're a foodie who enjoys a good pool day, the If you're a foodie who enjoys a good pool day, then you need to run, not walk, over to the @conradlosangeles immediately!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We enjoyed a cabana for an afternoon and ate like royalty! At the pool, you can order drinks and plates curated by @ChefJoseAndres, and enjoy dishes from Airlight, @Aguavivabyjose, and The Beaudry Room. Everything we tried was excellent, but you *have* to get the piña borracha, which is a pineapple soaked in rum!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Oh, and the pool is heated yet feels incredibly refreshing on a 90-degree day, so yes, this is my new favorite pool in DTLA! 📷 by @foodphotographer
I don't like to pick favorites but...wow. The newl I don't like to pick favorites but...wow. The newly opened @conradlosangeles is *the* hotel I'm going to have to put up my friends and family in when they visit me in LA!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I had an incredible staycation here last week, and I didn't want my experience to end. For starters, the building was designed by Frank Gehry, the iconic architect that designed the Walt Disney Concert Hall across the street (which you can enjoy insane views of when you stay at the Conrad!) This property is one of the most breathtaking hotels I've ever stepped foot in. I took approximately 70 million photos for future interior design inspo!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The service here is also next level, and the food was mind-blowing. Conrad partnered with the one and only @chefjoseandres for their dining program, and I had the pleasure of trying all four concepts. Spoiler alert: they were all divine, and I need to fully unpack them in another post!

AD: Raise your hand if you’re a fellow sparkling AD: Raise your hand if you’re a fellow sparkling water fanatic 🙋‍♀️ My friends know this, but if you visit me, I will always ask if you want your water to be still or sparkling. And boy, oh boy, if you like sparkling, I always have ✨options✨ on options for my guests!

I picked up some of the flavored @mountainvalleywater bottles from my local Whole Foods, and to say I’m obsessed is an understatement. The Blueberry Pomegranate flavor is subtle but delicious – and best enjoyed with friends, but also tastes incredible during the middle of the workday as well.
