Dress: Free People | Mules: Nordstrom | Necklace: Taudrey | Earrings: Kendra Scott | Glasses: Main + Central
Yikes — Halloween is now only six days away! Since I’m going to a wedding this weekend, I won’t be able to dress up on Friday or Saturday. However, I do have some time on Tuesday to hang out with fellow industry folks (which I honestly prefer!)
Since I have such a small group of people coming over to my house this year to celebrate Halloween on Tuesday, I plan on inviting folks over for some last-minute Halloween entertaining. Here are three easy steps to make your space seem more festive!
Halloween Entertaining – Decorate Your Bar Cart
I keep my decor pretty neutral. However, my bar cart is the one exception to the rule. I always like to switch my bar cart up seasonally! I picked up these amazing pumpkins, napkins and wood blocks from my local Marshalls. It was super easy to go in, browse their Halloween section, and pick up what I needed — and I spent less than $25 total for new bar cart supplies.
Halloween Entertaining – Dress in the Spirit
Since I’m not dressing up over the weekend, I’m forgoing a super elaborate costume this year. This little dress from Free People is black with subtle orange accents, and is perfect for hosting! You could also pair it with tights if it’s chilly out in your neck of the woods, or if you want to wear it to work during the day.
Halloween Entertaining – Whip up a Spooky Signature Drink
For holidays, I love to whip up a quick signature drink that will wow my guests. Izze is one of the best drinks to have at any party because they taste delicious on their own and they also double as great mixers as well. For this upcoming Tuesday, I plan on serving IZZE’s Sparkling Apple on its own. I also plan on using some of the whiskey I have to create a Whiskey Rose Cocktail: 1.5 oz rye whiske, 1/2 oz rosemary simple syrup, 1/2 oz lemon juice and the IZZE juice itself. Garnish it with a sprig of rosemary, and you’re good to go!
How do you like to entertain for Halloween?
Thank you to IZZE for partnering with me for today’s post.
