Do you know what’s my favorite part about summer? Having nice weather, and an excuse to have a garden party!
I had some friends over a few weeks ago for a small garden party at my new apartment — almost like a mini unpacking party of sorts. Unfortunately since this weather’s been crazy lately here in Philly. we had to move the party indoors. However, the party was still bright and cheery enough with the few simple pieces of garden decor, that no one else minded too much that we had to move the fiesta inside on a rainy day!
For beverages, I like to keep things pretty simple and light over the summer, so I served my trusty IZZE Sparkling Water. It comes in 3 delicious flavors: Raspberry Watermelon, Mandarin Lime and Blackberry Pear. It’s all organic, and a delicious light, healthy option! This water is also the perfect mixer if you’re throwing an adult garden party; I like pairing it with gin and garnishing with a fruit of my choice.
As for “party favors”, we all rocked flower crowns to keep up the garden party vibe going strong. We also snacked on fruits and veggies just to keep things fresh as well. My friends and I love to eat all the fried food, so having a party that was fresh and healthy was an absolute relief for all of us.
