Like I said in my Valentine’s Gift Guide post: I kind of love V-Day as a single lady. Is that weird?
It’s so low pressure, low stress, and a great excuse to get dressed up with my girlfriends and hit the town. This year, I’ll be riding back into D.C. on Valentine’s Day from NYFW, so I’ll most likely have to postpone my Galentine’s Day festivities a bit. But overall, it’s a fun holiday and an excuse to spend some time with whoever’s important in your life!
I love this Bardot Silk Dress from South Moon Under for Valentine’s Day because it is super chic, isn’t your typical red or pink, and is a great piece that can be worn in the dead of winter, or even in the summer. I’m all about dresses you can re-wear again and again, since let’s be honest: isn’t it the worst when you buy a super cute dress and you only get to wear it once?
