Dress: Gal Meets Glam | Shoes: Schutz | Hat: Brixton | Bag: Cult Gaia
Nope, I still don’t consider myself to be the best fashion blogger, but what can I say? After a weekend away at TBScon, which is jam-packed with style influencers, I figured I’d kick off this week by chatting about one new Gal Meets Glam dress addition to my closet that I’m loving. Plus, I didn’t have time to write my in-depth, 1500-word-blogging tips article I had planned after a hectic weekend. Don’t worry, that’s coming soon!
Gal Meets Glam offered all TBScon attendees small gift cards this year to purchase item(s) from her latest fall collection. I placed an order for a couple of Gal Meets Glam dresses when the collection first launched in Spring 2018, but honestly? I was confused by the sizing and wasn’t in love. Since I had a gift card, I’d figured I’d give it another go.
You guys: I am obsessed with this dress. Despite the fact that this Gal Meets Glam dress is from the “fall” collection, it was the perfect thing to wear in Georgia in August. The material was light enough to get me through a 95+ degree weekend, and it was ridiculously comfortable.
After Labor Day, I plan on ditching the straw bag and hat and pairing this dress with either sneakers or booties to transition it to the next season. In the Mid-Atlantic, it usually gets into the 80s until October, so let’s face it: I’m going to need pieces that are light and breezy for the next couple of months. The color of this dress is also fantastic to transition into fall as well because it’s a bit more muted and not too bright.
I’m kicking myself for overlooking the Gal Meets Glam collection all summer. Espeically because this line of dresses is made for the intense heat and humidity! Please don’t be surprised if you see me wearing this on repeat the next couple of months. It really is that comfortable. If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, I also love this dress as well.
