Happy Friday! I’m incredibly excited for spring fashion, but unfortunately it’s still the dead of winter. Richmond might experience moderate temperatures for a day or two, however it’s still a bit premature to start busting out our favorite shorts and sundresses. As we go into the final stretch of winter, I’ve had to become a lot more creative with how I layer my pieces to keep things fresh.

I’m in love with these Free People slip. In colder weather, it looks great layered under a cropped sweater, and in the summer the slip looks fabulous with a denim vest. I’m not the biggest fan of a typical drab, colorless winter palette, so I’m busting out the beloved pastels of spring now with this peach colored sweater and this mint M.A.C bag. Add a floral scarf and a pair of ankle booties and you’ve got an ensemble perfect for even the gloomiest of winter weather.
