Happy first day of spring, everyone! It still unfortunately does not feel very spring-y here in the District (go figure: 75 degree days in February and 40 degree days in March, Mother Nature can play some jokes!), but that doesn’t mean that I’m keeping my spring and summer dresses in storage!

During my birthday weekend, I headed up to Philly to celebrate the second half of my weekend, since a good chunk of my friends live there (and I will soon!) I wore this dress out to a concert, and it was a super fun piece to dance the night away in. I paired it with my trusty over the knee boots, but in the summer this would be super fun with some sandals and a great piece to take on vacation! Thank goodness for OTK boots, they really make transitioning between seasons a lot easier!

Also — a BIG thank you to the team over at Veluxe for doing my makeup for my birthday festivities — they seriously did a killer job! If you’re in D.C., be sure to give them a download!

  3. That’s a stunning dress, I love the colour. And I love how you styled it with those boots and those earrings, I think they look amazing together. I love the dress and boots look but I don’t have the guts to try it out because I’m scared I might get weird stares like “are you dressing for summer or for winter, make up your mind” because people have told me that before so…
