It’s no secret that I love to eat. From the mouth-watering Instagrams I frequently post to my Twitter bio declaring my love of tacos, you can probably gather that I’m a bit of a foodie. I made it a goal of mine when I moved back to the D.C. area a year ago to try at least one new restaurant a week (I’ve been able to achieve this goal, yet I still have dozens of restaurants to try!) I know, I know, I’m primarily a fashion blogger, but I’ve been brainstorming different ways to share my love of D.C. and it’s food scene with you all.
Welcome everyone to my new ‘Foodie Files‘ segment. Once a month, I’m going to highlight a different restaurant in the area and show you the perfect outfit to wear while dining. Last weekend, I had brunch at Masa 14 located in Logan Circle. Masa 14 is the type of place you’d want to bring a large group of friends to — it has a lively atmosphere and their small plates are meant to be shared. There’s no need to get overly dressed up here. Keep it casual so you can eat a ton with their bottomless brunch option. I opted for a comfy romper, statement necklace and the most comfortable pair of Steve Madden wedges to roam the city afterwards.
Also, during the summer, Masa 14 sells homemade liquid nitrogen ice cream on the patio after brunch ends, which I naturally opted to nom on during this outfit shoot. I’m sure you can tell by my facial expressions that this ice cream brought some serious joy to this outfit shoot. De-licious!
Favorite. Post. Ever. You look amazing and Masa is one of my faves!
killin it with the rompers lately!! xx Amy
Love this series you’re starting. Can’t wait to follow along and hopefully see some spots I used to love when I lived in DC. Loving the outfit too btw!

Hello Foodie Files! Love this new series. (I wish I could remember the funny name you originally wanted to call it… bc it was hilarious). Love this outfit AND Masa! ~Madeline
Great idea for a new feature! I agree that this place is perfect for a group of friends. My good friends bachelorette party started off here, and it was amazing.
Yummy! I’ve never been to Masa, I need to get over there, looks good!
I am a foodie as well. There’s no way around it and there’s also no shame in it! I have never had bacon fried rice but now i have to have it because I can’t get it out of my mind! I love your statement necklace and your heels. Fantastic summer look girl!
I love Masa 14! It has always been a go to happy hour spot for me. Plus it’s in one of my favorite parts of DC. Look forward to what other foodie places you choose in DC.
