Fall Wishlist

Ahhh, the beautiful month of July. Barbeques, summer blockbusters, and multiple days of 100+ degree heat that everywhere from South Carolina to Toronto has to suffer through. Naturally, these insufferable temperatures have me looking forward to fall. Returning to campus, reuniting with my friends, diving into my studies, and adding tons more layers that summer will not permit me to do. What do I plan on rocking in a few months?

I’m all about mixing in the classics with a few bold statement items this fall. The Schoolboy Blazer is classic prep-school chic, a beautiful wool exterior, striped lining, and brass buttons add a vintage flair to the staple piece. An easy piece to throw on and instantly look put together. I also can’t wait for the temperatures to drop so I can wrap up in a cozy knit, and the Wool Heart Cardigan is looking like it will do the job perfectly. This will be perfect to layer over dresses to transition into the colder months, and also will look fab with jeans while I’m out and about on campus. Speaking of jeans, this fall I’m ready to play with some hue so these Cigarette High-Rise Jeans in one of the next season’s trendiest colors, red. Red jeans are a fun spring trend that will be sure to last you into fall. If red isn’t your color, there are a ton of different options to try, such as green, electric blue, grey, black, etc. The sky’s the limit! Try something other than your standard blue jean.

I’m in love with a great statement necklace as well to add some punch to an outfit, and the Fall Festival Necklace by Madewell does the trick. Paired with a beautiful dress while going out with your friends or with a basic tee while you’re going to class, this necklace will definitely kick your outfit up a notch. I’m also lusting over the Vegan Pleated Leather Skirt, taking the popular spring trend of pleated skirt and adding a more appropriate material for the fall and winter months. just pair this with a silky white button down and tights and you’ve got instant style. And last, but certainly not least on my lust list would have to be the the Biella Loafers, don’t worry I’m still obsessed with last year’s mega popular oxford shoe, but I can’t wait to rediscover the staple that is the classic brown loafer. Also, loafer heels are on my list of must-have shoes as well, so I can’t wait to snatch both of these looks up.
